In this performance, I created an endless game-like system with my friend as another performer. We alternately count the steps we made and collect the numbers as many as we can until we fail to remember.

The idea for this work came moments after my father's passing in the middle of 2021 because of COVID-19. When I heard my father was sick, I came from Solo to Jakarta with black clothes, guessing whether this was a trip to his upcoming funeral. During the waiting process in the hospital, I need to remember a lot of numbers; the number of his floor and room, the number of his blood oxygen level, the number of my national ID, and the number of total deaths from COVID-19. Certain numbers remained remembered and forgotten, like my memory of my father.
